GPT-2 now trained to write Python code

Open AI’s GPT-2 language model has seen enormous success in the language domain, despite some prominent skepticism. It’s even been used to play chess.

Now it can write Python code.

While this is a fairly straight-forward extension of the previous uses, the demonstration underscores the potential for AI to displace basic programming as a skill set.
